Pacifecon is a New Zealand–based business intelligence company specialising in the construction industry. Their nationwide research team monitors and reports on upcoming residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects across the country. Pacifecon came to us with an outdated, slow website that no longer reflected their position as an industry authority, wanting a refreshed design with a clearer structure for their key offerings.

Led the visual design for the project, building out the component system used across the site. I was also part of the team behind the sitemap restructure, helping simplify Pacifecon's key business offerings into a clearer, more navigable structure.

Process
We kicked things off with a full sitemap audit to figure out where users were getting lost and where Pacifecon's core offerings could be simplified. From there we moved into low-fi wireframes to nail down the structure and flow before touching any visual design, checking in with the client at each stage through WIP sessions.

Outcome & Delivery
We gave Pacifecon a fresh, modern look with a bold dark-light contrast that makes them stand out as a real authority in construction intelligence. The new component system means their team can now update and expand content themselves, no more waiting on developers for every little change. They were stoked with how it turned out, especially how easy the handover was and how much flexibility they now have going forward.
